Application

Monobolt is a kind of structure unique, high strength metal links riveting pieces, is a new type fastener. monobolt rivet mandrel is pulled into the rivet body after the rivet gun dedicated tip – circumcision (convex) tip under the action of the mandrel breakage at will into the rivet body flange groove formed “mechanical lock” locking nail heart.
Applications: automotive, marine, electrical, elevators, containers, machinery, construction, electronics, aviation industry and other fields.

Difference of Monobolt Rivet & Interock Rivet

1.Same Point
Monobolt Rivet & Interock Rivet both are high strength structural blind rivets. The Mono bolt rivet & interock rivet is also called the cup -type blind rivet, which belongs to the structural blind rivet.After riveting, the broken core will be poured into the the rivet, locking the mandrel tightly.

2.Usages
The Monobolt rivets and Interock rivets are mainly used for riveting occasions with high strength loads.And it can resist corrosion, so is often used in riveting occasions with strong corrosive,such as hoods and boiler water tanks.

3.Differences
The monobolt rivet(outer lock rivet) is not different from the interock rivet(inner lock rivet) from the surface, and the physical properties are basically the same. The key is that the locking structure after the riveting is different. Generally, the inner lock rivet(interock rivet)can be used by common rivet gun. The outer lock rivet(mono bolt rivet) have to be used with a specialized rivet gun.

4.Use difference
A. The structural monobolt blind rivet(outer lock rivet) has a step which slightly greater than the inner hole in the inner hole of head flange. After the rivets are fully expanded, the upper part of the mandrel is broken. Under the pressure of the rivet gun, it is filled in this step, it plays a locking role.
B. The inner wall diameter of the structural interock blind rivet(inner lock rivet) is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the rivet pipe. After the rivets are fully expanded, the slightly internal diameter diamond rhombus material will be squeezed into the lower part of the mandrel fracture point to play a locking effect.
